Hello, welcome to pinkgh.com , please remember to read my other post.

I hardly turn on my T.v  except when i want to watch a football match, news or other special programs due
to images from "local movie industry" which i believe is unethical. Kumahood  is the name t referring  to movies produced in kumasi or simply  twi movies. There are more movies produced in kumahood per month than movies in  hollywood mainly because the cost of producing movies in low, an actor/actress can act in about 3 movies within a month. Script are poorly writing and some actors and actress claim they dont read scripts , they are told their roles in the movie and they do their own thing.
Movies are poorly produced  with very bad and embarrassing editing.

I said embarrassing because ghana is a cosmopolitan nation  therefore many foreigners live in the nation , no one knows the kind of perception they have built about  our dear nation due to the disturbing images in the local movies . Over the years movies produced by kumahood is mainly centered around witchcraft.
I still dont understand why our local movies use hollywood images and graphics in their movies , in  a way its copyright infringement.
You turn on your T.V and you will see so many advertisement about this movies, tarnishing the image of our movie industry. just watch the video above

Last time i heard Ekow Asante, one of the famous movie start in ghallywood (ghana version of hollywood) ,saying the local movies produced by kumahood( kumasi hollywood) is  destroying our local industry and in  a way he has a point , its just that he didnt address his complain to the right body (he sat on radio to make this declaration instead of sitting down with the ghana movie industry body , that wasnt the best he could do), but do i hate the local movie industry or movies produced in kumahood? certainly not , i believe and have seen better movie produced over the years and  am saying the current trend , witchcraft and demonic, is tarnishing the image of our country.
