Africa needs an educational reform?

African , especially west africa have to change its educational system to suit the modern era. Weac (west africa educational system) have been operating the same educational system for ages and there have not been any significant improvement in the lives of people who passed through it.

This institution needs a major reform to save the next generation, student today study things that are not really significant in the 21st century .
Everything in west africa has been politicized , talk about an educational reform and it will turn to a useless debate. This politicians sit on the TV and blame each other for work not done whilst the work is still not done .

Student now study to pass their examinations because many of the things been taught at school is very irrelevant in this modern and world  and unpractical but yet still they are forced to learn it for the sake of passing their examination.

I remember my school days in Labone senior high( one of the best senior high school in ghana) , i was in the science class and i remember learning the "black body radiation" , its talks about  how to measure the hotness of the sun, meanwhile ghana has no plans of going into space , hmm what am i saying we even dont have enough drinking water and electricity talkless of getting into space.

Today , the educational system produce graduate with very low skill in their field of studies, we have computer science graduate who cant design software or make system analysis. Most of these undergraduate have one common thing in mind , study -get a degree-get a job-make boat load of money.
The educational system is centered on getting a jobs not creating jobs.
